Re: Best system for gathering makeup work?

Good question. First of all, I let my students (high school)
know that if they are gone, it's their responsibility to find
out what htye missed. When I do have a student who is gone,
anything that I passed out to the studemts that day, I
paperclip together and put in a folder on my desk. When the
student returns, I give it to them and ask that they come in
before of after school to catch up on any lecture, power
point or demonstration. Again, it's up to the student to
step up and be responsible. I also, so i don't forget, put a
post it note on the folder with the students name on it as a
reminder to myself that I've got something for them.
