I think the student teacher meant she was going to bring
bagels for the mentor teacher and herself to eat before the
children arrived. I kind of took it to mean that that she was
going in a few days before schools started to help decorate
the classroom and that was when she was going to bring the
bagels. When I student taught, we were required to be at our
placement all week the week before school started to help set
up. I don't think she meant that she was going to feed the
children bagels.
I'd be in trouble if there were a no eating in the classroom
rule at my school because I always have my coffee with me and
a personal snack to eat in my classroom when the kids aren't
in the room. I didn't when I was a student teacher though.
