    Re: Student Teaching Anxiety

Here's some words of wisdom from a teacher: I get nervous
every year. I know teachers who have been doing this for
decades and they feel excited and nervous EACH August.

By the end of July, I start having dreams and writing little
lesson plans and all around being nervous. I worry I'll get a
class from heck. I worry my kids will go home and when their
parents ask how the first day went, they will say they like
all their teachers but me (which is silly). I get nervous
that I do something the mess up the first week that will
create a year long issue in my class.

This is normal. Use the nervous energy. Rehearse introduction
monologues, think of lessons, create a list of questions to
    ask the CT.

The bagels thing is darling. It makes me wish I had a ST!
