This gift idea was actually done by the room mothers for the
teacher - they bought a canvas apron at the local craft
store. Each student made a hand print on the apron. When
they dried, the moms painted each child's name on his/her
hand print and did a border with a saying about teaching
young children. The teacher was THRILLED with it! Another
possibility would be a really good children's book with a
note from the class signed by each of the children inside the
front cover.
