    Post: Lesson for an Observation
Posted by: Student teacher on 11/02/09

I am being observed in a week by my professor. My
cooperating teacher suggested I do something with bar
graphs. I have a book that I am going to read about a
lemonade stand and graphing their profits. I am planning
on doing a whole class graph to demonstrate to the class a
bar graph. I do not know what to do for them to
individually graph items. Everything I seem to come across
involves food, and the school that I am doing my student
teaching in does not allow food to be used in the
classroom for lessons. They are very strict regarding
the "healthy awareness". Does anyone have any ideas what I
    can use insead of food?!
