I'm not sure what grade you have, but in the 4th grade class
I'm student teaching in he asked for a few popular television
shows they liked to watch, had them close their eyes and vote,
and then had them make their own bar graph, plus a double bar
graph(boys vs girls) on the info. The kids really liked it...
