I walked into my classroom on the first day not having met the
teacher beforehand either, so don't worry! The first week you
will just observe, maybe even during the second week as well.
We were required to write daily journal entries about what we
were observing/doing, so I recommend bringing a notebook and
writing everything u observe the first week. You will look back
on it when it is your time to teach those subjects!
On the first day I stopped by the office and introduced myself,
and they gave me a name badge to wear. I had to sign in
everyday, so ask if you need to sign in and out everyday when
you get there and when you leave.
Just relax! I had two different placements, one great, and the
other not so much, but I learned sooooo much. So just have fun,
and on the days you feel like quitting just remember it will go
by so fast and the next day will be better!
