Six out of seven student teachers I hosted were great, well-prepared,
eager to learn how to work with the students, fill in the lesson plan
book, converse with the other staff, contribute ideas, ask questions, and
excited about gradually taking over the classroom. I received one check
(per ST)for $135 (last two) from the university and a dinner out with the
group. I enjoyed working with the ST advisors and future teachers. Lots
of work but little pay, in my opinion. I was lucky to get these well-
prepared students.
