	Re: When a teacher says their kids are good but chatty = rea Posted by for the teacher on 5/10/08 I've been a teacher and a sub. As a teacher, plenty of really good classes (respectful, do their work, try hard, participate in class, don't fight with each other) simply talk a lot. While they are great classes, you have to constantly tell them to be quiet. But what I've noticed as a sub is that those kids who are good but chatty for the teacher tend to be disrespectful and off-task for the sub. The teacher may not have seen that side of them or may have seen it in the beginning of the year and worked to eliminate it when she is running the ship.
