Re: When a teacher says their kids are good but chatty = rea

LOL Anne, funny you should mention this! Just yesterday I had
a note left by the grade 2 teachers saying just that. "Chatty
but well behaved". Oh man, they were pretty bad. They couldnt
watch a video without chatting ,bothering each other, moving
around, yelling SHHHHH every two minutes etc. I had to turn
the video off, send them back to their seats and have a very
firm chat about proper behavior. I gave them one more chance,
started the video again, and they lasted about 15 minutes
before I had to stop again. For good. They were constantly
telling each other what to do, standing up and lecturing the
whole class on behavior. There were a few students that
clearly "ruled the roost" and would literally stand up in
front of everyone and start yelling at them to be quiet.
Oddest class I have ever had. They were more like 6th graders.
