    Re: Speaking of Feral Children
    Posted by: Donna on 11/03/09

Although I hadn't heard of these particular stories until I
logged onto the chatboard this morning I do know that these
stories are becoming more commonplace each passing day.

My heart does go out to the families of the students who were the
    victims of these senseless attacks.

As a future teacher in the country's public schools it makes me
question what, if anything can be done to reach out to these
youngsters who have obviously not been taught right form wrong or
had a chance to develop a moral compass.

When I hear stories like this it makes me wonder: Where are the
parents of these kids? And what happened to responsible
    parenting?

It may sound crazy but I wholeheartedly feel that if one needs a
license to operate a car or practice medicine or teach for that
matter one should definitely need some kind of license to do
something as important as create and raise children.
