I saw the story, and couldn't even post what happened at the time.
I was sick to my stomach when I found out this school didn't
have cameras or lights in place where she was attacked.

Supposedly, a student lured her to the area behind the school.
I don't know what the p was thinking assuming kids would just
remain inside. Budget cuts probably didn't help, either.

Her father was supposed to pick her up from the dance. She
went outside at 9:30. This school has a history of gang
activity, and considered one of the worst.

If that had been my child, I wouldn't have let her even go to
the dance. The ball was dropped by all of the adults in
protecting this child. They found her passed out. I don't
believe for a minute that someone couldn't have left, and
reported it---- 2 1/2 hours-- yikes.

Redemption? Not in their lifetime, how can another human being
behave like this? I would pay to be on that jury. Except, I
wouldn't be able to sit through the trial. I feel rage just
thinking how she suffered. We are supposed to protect our
    children.

Violence can occur anywhere. We try to keep our children safe
from these animals. We have a 7 month baby missing right now.
Amber alert appears to be a joke. What about the girl that
was taken when she was only 11? Neighbors mentioned they had
seen the crude shelters that the maniac had constructed on his
property to keep her prisoner. His wife helped him kidnap her
as she was walking to school. He gave her two children, and it
makes my skin crawl. People assumed they were his children
    from his wife.

We have to be vigilant in protecting our children. If
something seems not right, we need to make an effort no matter
how busy we are. Everyone who rang my doorbell on Halloween
    was in groups.

I told my daughter when she was little, she couldn't go into
anyone's home. Why? Three houses down she was shown a gun on a
sleepover. The uncle kept it in a stupid cigar box. Suppose
the gun had gone off, I might have lost my child.

Death penalty is a joke because how long does it take for the
appeal process? We taxpayers pay, and pay.

It's open season on women here. Here's how it goes. A woman
leaves her husband or bf, he kills her, and then himself. He
can't have her so no one else will.

I really detest what happened. The police has located most of
them although 10 stood around, and watched. You can't think
video games, rap music, etc. because we choose to be bad or
good. No one has an ideal childhood. Experts can't agree why
some become damaged, and prey on others. Lafemme
