Post: Son had first fender bender!
Posted by: Elyssa on 11/04/09
My son called me around nine last night to say he had
been rear-ended by a young lady who goes to the same
university. He's complaining of neck pain. I told him to
take some advil and ice it, then go to the medical center
tomorrow. Really, really, really hope he is okay, as he
has two big midterms on Friday. So glad it wasn't serious,
which it could have been, because the impact pushed his car
somewhat into the intersection. He had slowed to stop at a
yellow, but so many drivers in CA just think yellow means
"FASTER, FASTER, FASTER!!" I almost got hit the other day
when I stopped. If the lane to the right had not been free,
this guy would have plowed into me doing about 50, cause he
never slowed and just swerved at the last minute, when I
guess he looked up and realized I had stopped.
Daughter has yet another doctor appt today, with
rheumatologist. I guess they are going to start testing for
connective tissue diseases. She is still collecting her
records to send to a Chiari specialist. The other day she
said she had trouble walking again. That breaks my heart.
