I agree with Lafemme, try another district and get a fresh start.
I (unfortunately) can identify with you somewhat. I had a
year-long position, got a horrible class- principal blamed
everything on me and was not supportive. Meanwhile she had her
"favorites" who could do no wrong. Lousy principal, the kids
hated her, the faculty distrusted her. Anyway, I wasn't hired for
a contracted position in the fall, so I said "eff it" and went to
another district. Sure I had to go back to day-to-day subbing,
but felt so welcome and not on edge like I did the year before. I
was having fun again. The principals were all outstanding. I
started there in October, worked really hard and made myself
known, and by January I was called personally by a principal for
    a long-term subbing job.

My old district was starting to feel like a bad dream (and here's
the kicker, I WENT to that elementary school-different principal
then though) I've had a few interviews at different districts
since then, and have new references and all from my current
district... but every time I interview it seems to go great and I
feel I've got it... but then I don't get it in the end. Sometimes
I wonder if they contact that awful principal, since I have that
experience listed on my resume, and she badmouths me. I hope not,
but that thought is there. I mean, I wish I could just leave that
part off, but it's also experience that makes me look more
qualified too... plus I'd feel like I were lying if I left it
off. I just don't list the principal as a reference. I list my
mentor teacher from that school instead, because she won't throw
    me under the bus.

So what I'm trying to say is, get a change of scenery, make new
connections... I know it stinks to have to start over, but it
sure helps the sanity and stress I think
