I went through something similar about 10 years ago when I moved
far from home due to no jobs. It was the year from Hades and I
figured out after a couple months (when I got my first evaluation)
and was told in no uncertain terms that my "townie" replacement was
to graduate that January and replace me. They made my life a living
you know what but I stuck out the year. I went from the bottom joke
lies to meeting standards but it nearly killed me.
I asked the principal to write me a letter of reference and it
sucked. I had had excellent evaluations until that time and I
decided to leave it on my resume. The hilarity? Is piece of carp
principal had to move to another far away small town due to
alcoholism. He called me that fall to hire me. I said no way.
I was nearly driven insane and was unable to mentally handle a
classroom after that nonsense. I chose to sub for awhile and was
hired in my hometown and then on to the school board I have had
tenure with going on three years.
Apply to another board. I left it on my resume based on past
evaluations that anyone with a brain could read between the lines.
I also left it on for the year's experience base financially.
Falisfy? I disagree with that nonsense. Take it off your resume.
Apply to a new board where you are or move away. Don't let anyone
stop you with your desire. One blip is nothing. Start over and
please get some support or see someone for counselling (sorry cant
spell I am braindead and fluridden)... I am proud to say that I
did right after that year and although it took awhile, it was worth
it. God bless and please do NOT quit.
