    Thank you, Jean; I did get some ideas from the article. And
    thank you to everyone else who has responded.

    I will try some of these ideas. I really think our problem is
    not the children as much as the acoustics. I don't know what can
    be done about that inexpensively. I think we will post lunchroom
    or cafe rules and see how that helps.

    We do currently give 'awards', entry forms, for individuals and
    groups who follow the known rules. Each month, one member of
    each class is chosen for lunch with the principal.
