Good morning!
It was clear yesterday.
My mother feels very sick. Her body aches her all over, and
she coughs and has a big headache. She already took some
medicine and did get the flu shot. Hopefully she feels
better later. My brother is slightly sick.
I am the only one who is not sick.
Anyway, yesterday I took my brother to the Borders that is
near the city of Cerritos, CA. We did pass near the site of
the August 31, 1986 mid air collision between an Aeromexico
DC9-32 and a Piper private plane. This caused the death of
all 64 occupants of the jetliner, the 3 in the small plane,
and 15 on the ground.
After this, we went once again to Knott's. Yeah...that has
become a favorite place to be. I rode the Sierra Sidewinder
about 9 times, and this time I felt no pain at all because I
already know how to ride it properly. My favorite part of
that ride is the 3.3 G helix. Really, you do feel the G
forces having an effect on you.
Guess what...at the end of my last ride at the Sidewinder I
started to hear loud chants of my last name....it turns out
that a large contingent of students who know me from subbing
were there waiting their turn, and they all saw me and
started chanting my name. One of the adult riders turned to
me and asked me what all that commotion was about.
My brother loves the La Revolución ride, and he rode it
about 10 times.
After this, we went back home. My mother was already sick
but she decided to come along with my sister and I to drop
her back to the college apartments.
No, I did not watch the Super Bowl.
