I am glad I don't sub anymore. Horrible for my self esteem.
I agree.....

I tried it after retiring from teaching. I lasted 7 years. Each year was worse than the one before. Glad I am out of it.

It doesn't matter how qualified you are or how much experience you have; admin, other teachers, and even the students treat you horribly. I'd rather work at Burger King with my master's degree.

Sarah I used to hate it too! Then I had a particularly horrible day (Zero respect given from students OR staff, ugh! And even being harassed at the copy machine by another teacher because she didn't know who I WAS. After TWO YEARS of working in the building, she didn't know who I WAS??) and I sent out my application to other schools....

Judy It is difficult to switch locations with my children's schedules and family obligations. Believe me, I would if I could.
