I have middle school kids who constantly tell me that their teacher lets them leave as early as 5' before the bell.

I never give into that but they always try to rush to the door early and get out.

Problem is that one of my schools has 2 doors in each room.
BJ You can get in trouble for letting them out early. I would only do that if it were mentioned in the plans. I know sometimes because of distance from other rooms they can go early. pixie Sam, My understanding is that you are not "letting" them leave early, but they are trying to rush out anyway. I understand your situation because it is harder to control the room when there are two doors.
