I teach in a DoDDS school in Germany. When it comes to map
skills, I feel like my kids understand the basics.
However, I feel like my kids are lagging in the area of
local directions ie---knowing the city, state, country,
etc. they come from. It is hard with everyone coming from
different places. It is equally hard, because some have
never lived in the United States. Does anyone have a way I
could get this point across to the students?
