    question has anybody been terminated from the DOE while waiting for
    initial recertification from new york state. It has happen to a teacher I know
    and now I need help on finding out how to restore her job without loosing
    her accumulated time and record. Her certification was posted on
    September 12 but she was terminated on August 31. The Doe is saying
    she has to start as anew teacher because of the lapse on her certification.
    Any suggestions an what she could do??
