I have purchased the book and have created many centers for my second grade class. It is the first time that I no longer hear from my kids "What do I do next." They are engaged and involved intently on the tasks. I actually am able to get through all my small reading groups with minimal interruptions. They are always asking me when it is center time. I devote only about 30 min a day 3-4 times a week to them. Also there is a K teacher that uses them at my school and has adapted them to her students. i highly reccommend them.
