Then, after the student listens to it, I simply up their initials so I know who has and who has not listened to it. I also have worksheets I sometimes have them do that I found free on the web. (We all love free stuff). One is shaped like a mitten. All the student does is write the title, author, and their favorite part of the book. There are several different ones out there though.
