I don't know the age of your students, but you might want to use
the Kelly Bear Earth book in some way. There are ten pages,
each with a different idea expressed. For example: Save water:
Act out brushing teeth with the water running, and with it
turned off. Not wasting food: Act out putting food on your
plate that you will eat, and throwing lots of food away. Saving
electricity, walking instead of using a car, recycling instead of
throwing recyclables in the trash can, taking cloth bags to the
grocery instead of using plastic, picking up trash instead of
