Re: BEWARE! INTERNATIONAL GRAND TOURS CANCELLING TRIPS!
Posted by Tamra Scarborough on 8/24/05

What "Still Mad" wrote here on 8/23/05 is true and correct. We are
a group also from the midwest, Edwardsville, IL, and our group's
funds have not been returned after no services of travel were
offered, our certified letters acknowledging the trip was cancelled
by IGTours and requesting a full refund from the company have gone
unanswered and there have been no return phone calls from the
company! Our trip coordinator tells us that prior trips with Travel
Selections were fine, what was paid for was delivered, however, it
does seem strange that both companies are now being accused of
severe neglect in delivering what was paid for by trusting parents
and students. Mr. Ron Hansen did answer his cell phone and speak
with a few individuals from our group. When asked if the money will
be returned, he certainly indicated it would.
I would sooner have burned my money with a match than give it to
such a thief and liar as Ron Hansen!
Our group now finds ourselves seeking legal advise and direction on
how to pursue getting our money back through the legal process, or
for the minimal satisfaction of seeing Ron Hansen prosecuted for
    embezzeling our money!
    Frustrated and Disgusted!
