Those of you who have been waxing nostalgic about "the good old days"
with your "dear friends" at Travel Selections should know the following:

Ron Hansen was hired in the summer of 2003 by Joe Maloof as a financial
consultant to Travel Selections, at a time when the company was
spiraling down into fiscal disaster. By April of 2004 employees were no
longer being paid regularly, and only stayed on due to promises that
they could soon become "part owners" of the company. Some who left in
disgust never received their final paychecks or back vacation pay.
Groups of teachers and students were stopped at their departure
airports or even turned back upon arrival in Europe since the local
organizer had not been paid for months and there was no one to run
their tours. The blame for all these problems was assigned everywhere
but where it belonged; poor management.

Currently, many former Travel Selections employees who had the
misfortune to sign for an American Express card to be used for business
purposes and travel during their employment are being harassed by
American Express, and the collection agency that AE subsequently
contracted, for an unpaid debt balance of almost $150,000. Because
their names were on the account, they are being told that they may be
    liable.

And anyone who doubts the strong "connection" between IGT and TS need
look no further than the cavalier treatment of employees, clients and
    creditors mentioned above.
