Post: EF Tours a Bad tour Company

Posted by JoAnn on 4/05/08

Just returned from an EF Tours to Greece and the Islands.
First of all, the EF tour director was wonderful.

But, I think we got ripped off by EF. They sent us the
names of the hotels where we were staying in Athens. At
home we looked them up on the Web and the hotels looked
very luxurious. However, we did not stay in those
hotels. We stayed in hotels that were clean, but second
class and certainly not luxurious and not in the best part
of town. EF did the bait and switch. The kids were told
they would be in triple or quad rooms, the adults in
double rooms. The triple and quad rooms were simply the
double room with one or 2 cots stuffed in the room - very
crowded. Just a way for EF to maximize their profits.
The food in the hotels was mediocre. The food on the boat
was downright bad. I would not take an EF tour again. It
    was a rip off.
