Fundraising Discount Cards and The Incredible Benefits

Let's be honest - how many benefits do you (and your customers) enjoy with the common fundraising products you sell to raise money for your church group, school team or other organization? Probably not that many. By choosing fundraising discount cards when it comes time to raise money, you're doing your group/organization, customers, and your local community a great favor. The benefits are many, the profits amazing, and the savings/discount offers on the cards are just what consumers in our current economy are looking for. So, what are the "incredible" benefits of using fundraising discount cards mentioned in the title of this article?

Here are a few examples of what you can expect when you decide to change the way you approach raising money for your group or organization.

Incredible profits. Of course you don't want to be mercenary, but the point of fundraising is to raise the money your group needs for a trip, uniforms, a new gym, etc., right? Fundraising discount cards offer more profitability than any other product your group has sold in the past including candy bars, candles, popcorn, jerky, cookie dough, even catalog sales. Can you imagine profit margins of more than 100%? The more cards you order, the higher your profit margin. For instance, say you have a group of 200 who will be participating in your efforts. Since most people can easily sell 10 cards, that's 2,000 in total - which equates to a cool $20,500 in profits! Even if you've only got 20 or 30 people involved in the selling of the cards, you can still expect to earn more than $1,200 quickly and easily.

Real value for the customer. Honestly, when you think about it there aren't that many products you can promote to potential customers that offer real, lasting value. Cookie dough, candy bars, jerky and popcorn are "gone in a flash," so to speak. Sure they're delicious, but they just don't last that long for the money! With fundraising discount cards, the customer enjoys the benefits for one full year in the form of discount savings and buy-one-get-one-free offers at merchants in their own community. This is real money savings on products and services most people spend money on regularly, regardless of economic conditions.

Easy for those participating in your fundraising efforts. This is tough, not to mention keeping up with the money. Put candy bars in the backseat of a car in the scorching temperatures like we've experienced this summer, and they turn to melted mush in no time at all. Where do you store them when you're not out selling? With fundraising discount cards, you have none of these concerns as they're easy to carry around wherever you go, they don't require storage, and they won't melt or freeze according to weather conditions.

They're ideal for combo fundraising. Yes, that's a term we just made up, but why not combine the cards with your other efforts to raise money? When the teens are holding a car wash for donations, throw in the cards as well. Having a church bake sale or yard sale on the grounds? Make the cards visible or even offer them up when those who come to browse what you have to sell get ready to check out. You will be amazed at the number of people who are excited about the opportunity to save money over the course of one year, particularly considering the fact they only spend $10 for the card.
