July 24th,
There are grants available, but you need to define the type of
project that is going to support your request for the funding
regarding the items in need. How will the items in need
support the mission statement of the grantor giving the
funds? Computers for education can be found by linking to
your local department of education which links to your state
funding for education.(Dept. of Commerce is also a resource)
The National Foundation for Sports and Fitness is a good place
to start for the playground equipment. Remember, your mission
and the grantors mission need to have common ground in order
to be funded. Ask the big question? How does it benefit the
whole community? and how will it be measured for success?
Corporate funding can come from other places like Finishline
which sales gym shoes. They only fund in areas where they
have distribution centers and stores.
Hope this helps and good luck!
You may call me regarding funding resources and areas of
funding for your mission.
Respectfully,
Jeff
