I'm sorry if I'm entering this in the wrong place. I'm
trying to contact teachers with experience in pen pals
between schools/states/countries.
Has anyone ever used GAGGLE as their pen pal partners,
providers?
If so, any problems or great things happen for you?
I'm creating a project for my school to meet the state (PA)
standards that students should understand the use and
benefit of internet email. My school's administration has
historically been worried about leaving the "local
world"(providing no email experience at all) and accessing
the "online world".
I need to show a well-working and safe, monitored email
system. GAGGLE.NET, advertises a safe monitored email
experience, but I'd like to talk to someone using Gaggle
before jumping in.
I plan to do mostly in-school emailing (students to other
students and/or other teachers) and perhaps emailing
externally to parents.
But I would like to know how to safely email a school, say
in Texas or Australia, for exchanging first-hand experience
with a project we do in class, such as their state's state
flower and how they see it where they live, etc.
Can anyone using Gaggle.net help me, or can you help
me "convince the Administrators" of how I can safely set up
a program like this at our school with another way?
Thanks.
