Hi Michelle,
I would use maracyn 2 (maracyn in different, and usually attacks the less common
types of bacteria). But meanwhile, definitely do at least partial water changes (adding
no aquarium salt and adding 1/8 epsom per gallon-- pre-make the gallon jug so you
always have this concentration as opposed to adding it directly to his tank. Do a
water change before redosing every couple of days. It may be dropsy-- I have had
several come down with this, and I always treat, but it is difficult to cure (if at all
possible). Continue to try to feed him anyway.
You can use maracyn 2 with the maracyn.
