The following states are needed for a postcard
exchange for the 2008 - 2009 school year:
Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii,
Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi,
Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma,
Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont,
Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Wyoming
A postcard exchange is an exciting way for your students to
learn about the US. If you are interested, you would send
one postcard to each of the other states that will be on
the list that I will send out via email. You would include
information about your state on the postcard. For example,
your capital, state symbols and any other
important/interesting information about your state.
In exchange your class will receive a postcard from the
others on the list. It is very exciting for the students
to receive a postcard. I have a huge map of the US and
after we read the postcards, we post them on the map in
their proper places.
Please send your school name and address, your class name
(ex. Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade) and your email address to
lisa.baskow@millville.org or post a message.
