I again will be coordinating a postcard exchange with
(hopefully) a class in every state and the District of
Columbia. We are starting out with a core group of teachers
who have lived up to their commitment and actually sent out
postcards. Classes that have participated in the past have
really enjoyed the project.
Please send me an email directly at
mryterridgewood.k12.nj.us if you are interested after
reading the requirements. Include the following in your
email:
1. your name 2. School name 3. School address (street,
city, state, and zip) 4. Grade (and subject)
Postcards will be mailed out to be received by every
classroom no later than October 30, 2009. The message
should include a message from your students about their
school, town, after school activities, etc.; we can look up
facts & statistics if we need to - my students have always
enjoyed the more "personal" messages.
I will email out a label (Word) document with the names and
addresses of all the participants as well as keeping you
all informed of the status of our exchange throughout the
summer.
Thanks - Mike
