Post: Will you host Fredbird?

Hi,
My 4th graders and I began a project today which is similar
to Flat Stanley, only it is "Flat Fredbird." Fredbird is
the St. Louis Cardinals mascot and we have created small
paper Fredbirds to send all over the world in hopes that we
learn about other places.

The requirements to participate are minimal. You email your
mailing address and we'll send Fredbird to you with a
student-created brochure about the city and state we live
in. Then, you can send Fredbird back to us with information
about where you live, even pictures if you want. We will
post the information on our project website. We'll be
tracking the number of miles that Fredbird travels, as well
as posting a journal where he will write about his adventures.

Please help us! We have a goal for Fredbird to visit ALL 50
states and at least ten countries before the end of the
school year.
