I was in NYC over the week-end. DD lives in Washington
Heights (north end of Manhattan). It was great fun. Kids
were sledding on the hill by her apartment all day on
Saturday. By Sunday, our hibernation was over. The
neighborhood was alive with people feeling sprung from their
cages. We drove out (and eventually home) about 4:00 on
Sunday. The streets were narrow, but there was no problem
driving to the GW bridge.
DD was disappointed that she didn't get a no-school day out
of the event.
Washington, DC, and other parts of NYC (Queens) were not so
fortunate.
