I'm sorry you're going through a hard time. All of us who are
old enough to be retired teachers have experienced many of
the variations of illness, loss and/or betrayal that are as
much a part of life as joy.
I think this forum should be open to all kinds of civil
discourse. I object to the previous poster's suggestion that
you "man up". You and I both know that women are capable of
amazing strength as are men. Unfortunately we're all also
capable of weakness, ignorance, and a fear of the future.
The current political campaigns are frightening proof of
that.
Make America Great Again people often really mean, "Let's go
back to a time when white (mostly) men got to be kings of the
universe.
