Bill, I've followed your retirement and "adventures". I'm
glad that you have found your interest! I retired after 39
years of teaching and subbed for 5 years after retirement.
My husband was still working and many of my friends were
still working. It was a great way to ease into full
retirement. Since I left subbing, I've joined 3 interest
groups (water exercise, knitting and book discussion) and
have had the pleasure of meeting some very interesting and
kind people. My husband retired last year and went back to
work for the summer.............
We have been able to do some winter get away trips but I
don't think we will be true "snowbirds. While winter is
really too long in my part of the world, I don't dislike
winter.
I loved teaching but I'm very glad to have the time to take
part in other interests.
I'm glad that you have found that sweet spot of retirement!
Are you still taking the camper out on trips?
