That's so sad to hear that you regret retiring. Have you
thought about working part-time?
I retired in order to leave teaching. I'm much happier working
8-4 with a lunch break, no homework and no free overtime.
Eventually I will be ready to fully retire, but I haven't yet.
Teaching is a very, very busy job to retire from, so stepping
down to a far less busy job seemed like a logical step for me.
Having weekends and evenings free is a huge novelty for
me.
