I did lap band surgery, three years ago, just after retiring, That's where the wrap a
band around a portion of your stomach.
Hd some serious weight loss....almost 100 pounds. But half of it is back now. Part
of that is my doing. I know that.
But what I did not know is that in 40% of lap band surgery cases, the band has to
be removed. various reasons. Mine was that my esophagus became dilated when
the band was on too tight.
Had it removed this past friday.
If you or anyone you know is contemplating bariatrics, do your own research. Don't
just trust the surgeons. Medicine is very corporatized now. Their focus is profit
NOT people.
