Re: Advice on students standing during pledge?
Posted by cp on 12/06/06

I can't believe that there are people living in the U.S. that
will not stand for the pledge to the flag; IF they don't want
to say it, that's one thing, but not to stand; that is very
disrepectful. Our men & women are giving their time, their
lives and their beliefs to help these individuals be able to
have thier "rights". Is it to much to ask for these
individuals to give the flag some rights also. I have
certain beliefs also, but they do not inflict anything on
ANYONE. You can bet these certain individuals will see day
light when something of "their's" isn't given the proper
rights and they feel offended. Let's get with it - if you
live in America you should give the flag it's due rights. It
is OUR symbol of FREEDOM, which I'm sure your are here
because YOU can have your "FREE CHOICE". A little respect
goes a long way. IF these indivduals want respect they have
to give it. Some day some one will tell these people, or
show them - when in America do as the Americans do. SHOW
    RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
