I think it is unecessary to find fault with the above poster. He
or she is simply trying to improve themselves and to ask a
question.

While I am not a teacher I am employed in the field of special
education as a social worker. I am considering going for my
certification.

I will attempt to respond to the previous posters question. In
the Commonwealth of PA teachers with a BS make around 45,000 per
year to start.

Good luck to you in your career....and do not let anyone get you
down with negativity!
