Post: Corporal Punishment policy

Our district has decided to try a voluntary corporal
punishment policy for grades 9-12 which seems to have
worked well elsewhere. Under the policy, for most class I
violations of the code of conduct, students would choose
between a specified detention assignment and a paddling.
We would be intersted if anyone has sugesstions regarding
this policy and/or a discipline matrix providing
alternative punishments for specific code violations.
