It's not the "schools" per se it's the TEACHER EDUCATION down
here! Do you know how many Professional Development days I've gone
to where I started to roll my eyes thinking "But, I've already been
trained with this several years ago"????? It's shameful.
The 'south' has always been slower than other parts of the nation.
Just a fact. And not just in education.

You cannot say blue vs red is why things are bad. I came from a
blue state and while it wasn't as bad as AZ education (not even
near it), there are still some pretty messed up things because that
state is a "blue" state for the most part.
