Re: Visits to homes of students
Get off your high horse. I have been the first to call CPS many times.
The response for help for children in need in this state is deplorable.
We treat our homeless/abused animals better than we do the children in
this state. I know I am a mandated reporter and I have done what is right
more times than I care to talk about. I have testified in court cases,
reported hungry children, given gift cards anonymously to parents so they
can feed their children. I know my duty. There is something very
sinister sounding about this new duty though that the district has
decided might be a good idea. Behind the smoke screens that are set up --
we are simply have been assigned another spying duty by this state. I
connect with my parents on a daily/weekly basis, mix with them at social
events at the school -- however I will not go into the private homes and
assume the role of "Big Brother" because that is what it will end up
being in this state.
