To whomever lives in Vail, that is a wealthy district. Not that wealthy
districts don't have their issues, but there isn't a house in Vail I
wouldn't want to walk in.
Jamil--------I completely get what you are saying.
If you, in your teacher role, visit a home, report the conditions of that
home to whichever state department, then said home gets a call/visit from
the state...it is highly likely the parents will hunt you down.
Some of these people live their lives like a Jerry Springer show and they
will hunt you down for reporting them.
So, Mr. or Ms. High-and-Mighty "it's for the children" BS that you are
spouting.
We do EVERY stinking thing we can for our students and for their families.
Until the administration accompanies us on each home visit, it is out of the
question. I have my own home and family to protect against some wacko parent
out for revenge.
