I cannot believe how impossible it is to teach here. There
are no teacher jobs unless you are in special ed, math or
science. There are so many teachers out of work in AZ there
are practically no sub teaching jobs out there. This is
insane - I am beyond sadness and anger and onto
hopelessness. I have applied at most of the local Phx area
districts and they advise me they are full.
Did I waste 4 years at college and now another 3 on my
masters for nothing?
Then I watch the news tonight - top stories
AZ worst economy in the nation
The supermarket strike - these people should be where I am
at - no union - no help - they are out of their minds
walking off in this mess!
