Re: Job outlook unreal for teachers

I agree with the commenter about the politicians and the attitude
toward education improvement in this state. I have called
legislators (senators and reps alike) to see what is currently on
the legislative docket regarding education in this state.
Nothing to improve the current state of education is being done.
There is absolutely nothing pending that is of value to students
or teachers. I was told by one office that the current focus is
on healthcare. I was stunned. We are expected to multitask but
our legislative body can't. I am looking for lobbyists that will
undertake the task of dealing with education in this state. Our
politicians won't deal with it. They don't care.
