This is not a good state to teach in. Legislators have
always lied about their committment to students, education
and teachers. This year they let their emotions get the
best of them. As a way of punishing the teachers for
marching on the capitol last year they displayed their
disdain for education, students, and teachers with the
newest legislation, House Bill 2011. If they dare to
imply that they care about education or teachers it would
akin to listening to Bill Clinton say that he did not have
sex with that woman. In my opinion,Arizona is a great
place to live. Arizona has incredible teachers.
Education in Arizona is deplorable. Salaries are
deplorable. Working conditions for teachers are
deplorable. Teacher morale is not good. We would all do
well to teach in 3rd world countries where we are
appreciated and valued. You owe me! I may have just
saved your life.
