I am off for the summer unpaid and my principal called and requested I come back to school to interview several perspective candidates for a 4th grade position. I have kids and had to pay a babysitter several times, not to mention the cost for gas that is approaching $2.50 a gallon. Is this normal for this to happen and unpaid? What would of happened if I said no? Obama is trying to put a stop to this kind of thing but in a Republican state, I think it will never happen. This is my last year as a teacher needless to say! I have bills and plenty of them and a thanks means nothing when I open my mailbox to plenty of people who want my money.

huh Dafuq does Obama have to do with this? No one gets paid to interview candidates! Grow a backbone and say no. The P will find someone else.
