Hi guys,
I just moved to Colorado Springs with the idea that there is
always a need for teachers. Well I have a BS in Marine
Science and Biology and a cert. in Elementary Ed. I can not
even tell you how many jobs I applied to. And I only got one
response. It was for a 1/2 day kindergarten position. I was
really hesistant on going to the interview. But I did, and I
found I absolutely loved the whole "team effort" approach
they took. So, I was offered the position and accepted it.
Being this is my first ever year of teaching I think
the "lighter" load will be helpful along with the wonderful
crew of teachers I will be working with, not to mention the
mentoring program I will be a part of. Good luck to all.
